An evening with renowned illustrator Charles Santore on Friday, March 8, at the Philadelphia Sketch Club. Mr. Santore’s work is part of the permanent collections of the Brandywine River Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, as well as many private collections. He is a winner of the prestigious Hamilton King Award from the New York Society of Illustrators, where his work was recently featured this past October in a solo exhibition entitled: “Exploring the Narrative Picture.”

Among his most popular works are illustrations for The Complete Tales of Peter Rabbit, The Little Mermaid, The Wizard of Oz, Paul Revere’s Ride and The Night Before Christmas.

  • Doors open at 5 pm. Social hour.
  • Mr. Santore’s talk will start at 6:30 pm in the upstairs gallery.
  • Dinner will be served 7:15 pm.

Admission for the talk and dinner is $20, for students $15.
