PHOTOGraphy2013: Judgement Day

Sunday, June 30th, Melvin Chappell, Eileen Eckstein, Joe Winter and Ken Weiner spent the day with juror Tony Ward to judge and hang the PSC’s 2013 photography exhibition.  It took more then six hours to select and hang works from more then  200 submissions.

Accepted work will be published on a post by Tuesday evening July 2nd.

Upcoming Dinner Meeting featuring Rich Harrington

Plan to attend this special presentation.

The June 2013 Members Dinner Meeting will take place on Friday, June 14 at the Clubhouse at 235 S. Camac Street, Philadelphia.  The schedule for the evening is as follows:

  • Doors open at 5:15 pm for social hour.
  • Speaker’s presentation at 6:15 pm.
  • Dinner will be served at 7:15 pm.
Our president Rich Harrington will be the speaker.  Rich is an Associate Professor of Illustration at Moore College of Art and Design.  The dinner menu is Caesar salad, Chicken Marsala, rice pilaf, baked stuffed shells, buttered green beans, and assorted pastries.  We have some new members who will be attending so please come to meet them.  Please RSVP by leaving a message at 215-545-9298 if you plan to stay for dinner.

Don’t forget, the dinner meeting tomorrow Friday May 10th is the most important meeting of the year for the club.  To hold a valid election a valid quorum must be present.  Please plan to attend or arrange for your proxy ballot to be counted.

Voting is open to members in good standing only.
