Marilyn Foehrenbach, our Gallery Manager at the Philadelphia Sketch Club, will be our March Member’s Dinner Meeting speaker. Marilyn recently graduated with a BFA in illustration from Moore College of art and design, where she excelled in Digital Painting. She will be demonstrating how she uses a laptop and a Wacom tablet to create work that when printed is difficult to distinguish from a traditional work, whether it its oil, watercolor, or even pastel or conte crayon.

Marilyn recently had her work accepted into the Society of Illustrators 2014 Student Competition. Over 8,000 works were entered by college students from around the work, and less than 300 were selected. Her work will be on display May through June at the Society of Illustrators in NYC.
